BWF 2017 World Junior Badminton Championships

Congratulations to Our All-Star Player,

Catherine Choi!

Congratulations to our star player, Catherine Choi, who has recently participated in the 2017 World Junior Badminton Championships in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Representing Ontario Badminton Academy, and more importantly, proudly representing Canada, she gave her best and achieved a historical result for our country. During the two weeks of competition, she participated in both the team event and the individual events. The most remarkable achievement has to be Catherine's result in the Girls' singles event. She fought hard against many other incredibly talented players from all over the world and made it into the fourth round, a record that has never been achieved by any other Canadian players in the past. Ontario Badminton Academy looks forward to accomplishing more outstanding results in the future!
